Jean Stormes

Jean Stormes is an experienced professional in talent acquisition and people operations, currently serving in the Talent & People department at Semgrep since January 2023, with a focus on recruiting and systems management. As a founding member of Syelo Ventures, Jean brings valuable expertise gained from previous roles, including a recruiter at Stripe, where impact was made in full lifecycle recruiting for financial partnerships, and at Box, managing talent strategy across multiple organizations. Earlier experience includes technical sourcing at Google and lead technical recruiting at Bayside Solutions. Jean began a career in sales management at Nordstrom, successfully overseeing a significant business segment. A graduate of California State University-Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Jean combines academic knowledge with diverse industry experience.
