Barbara Berckmoes

Barbara Berckmoes serves as the Global Trade Indirect Tax and Controversy Leader at Syensqo since September 2023. Prior to this role, Barbara was the Head of European Indirect Tax at Hutchison Whampoa (Europe) Limited from August 2017 to September 2023. Barbara's extensive experience in the field includes positions as Indirect Tax Director and Indirect Tax Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxembourg, as well as Indirect Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Portugal. Additional experience includes roles at KPMG Portugal and PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Portugal and Belgium, where Barbara advanced from Senior Consultant to Indirect Tax Consultant. Barbara's foundational education was obtained at Sint-Gertrudis College Wetteren.
