Christopher Davis

Christopher Davis is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Committee at Syensqo since December 2023, Christopher previously held the position of Special Advisor at Solvay for a brief period in late 2023. From 2013 to 2022, Christopher was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer at Orica, overseeing significant operations and a team of over 500 employees. Earlier career milestones include roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Scaw Metals Group at Anglo American, as well as serving in various financial management capacities within the organization. Christopher began professional career at Deloitte as a Senior Manager in Financial Services. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Accounting and Auditing from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
