Mudenda Chipenzi is an experienced metallurgist with extensive expertise in mineral processing and sales management. Currently serving as the Area Sales Manager for Metal Extraction Products at Syensqo since April 2025, Mudenda oversees sales growth in the North Western and Copperbelt regions while developing strategic partnerships in the mining and metallurgy sectors. Previous roles include acting as Senior Metallurgist for Gold Optimization at First Quantum Minerals, specializing in gold recovery optimization, and improving flotation processes across multiple circuits. Mudenda has a solid foundation in metallurgy with a degree from The University of Zambia and has held various positions that emphasize process improvement, reagent management, and safety compliance across different companies in Zambia’s mineral sector.
