Muhammad Siraj Uddin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Muhammad Siraj started their career as a Process Operations Engineer and later became a Shift Manager at Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited. In this role, they were responsible for managing the operations shift and ensuring the optimized and continuous operation of the plant. Muhammad Siraj also handled plant emergencies and supervised startup and shutdown processes for safe operation.

After that, Muhammad worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. During this time, they gained experience in assisting with teaching responsibilities.

Muhammad Siraj then joined Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC as a Process Engineer. In this role, they utilized PI Vision and SEEQ to measure plant performance and achieve optimized operation. Muhammad Siraj also played a key role in troubleshooting process issues and investigating incidents to improve process operations and reliability. Currently, Muhammad is working at Syensqo as a Site Process Engineer - Derivatives' Lead. Their responsibilities include evaluating and implementing capital projects, developing project scope and cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and timeline.

Muhammad Siraj Uddin completed their Bachelor of Science (honors) in Chemical Engineering from NFC IET Multan in the years 2004 to 2009. Muhammad Siraj then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as iPRSM Software Training from Farris Engineering, WES from World Education Services, and PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute in 2017. Muhammad Siraj also obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) license from Professional Engineers Ontario in 2021.
