Raphael Wischert

Raphael Wischert is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Manager of Analytical Laboratory at Syensqo since December 2022, where oversight includes a team of 20 experts in analytical organic chemistry. Prior experience includes a tenure at Solvay from January 2013 to November 2022, where Raphael held the position of Team Leader for Computational Chemistry and Digital Transformation, leading global initiatives in material simulation and establishing international open-innovation partnerships. Additionally, Raphael contributed as a Senior Research Scientist in Computational Chemistry, focusing on innovation projects. Earlier, a postdoctoral position at ETH Zurich involved research in surface chemistry and functionalization of oxides, following the completion of a PhD in Chemistry at École normale supérieure de Lyon, alongside degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from CPE Lyon and The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
