Topher Hurley is currently a Semiconductor Technical Specialist at Syft. Prior to that, they were an R&D Engineer at Dynamic Materials Corporation from July 2013 to December 2015, where they were responsible for new product development, fundamental process characterization, failure analyses, implementation of data collection systems, analysis & formalization of production process parameters, and encouraging best practices in the German and American production engineering groups. Topher also affected change in the engineering & production teams by promoting empirical, fact-based decision making informed by a deep understanding of the fundamental manufacturing process. From March 2017 to June 2017, they were a Product Manager at KRD Imports, but the role was short term as the position was made redundant due to corporate restructuring. This role promised to utilize their sales & customer service skills in conjunction with their technical ability (primarily through development of improved forecasting models) to improve internal purchasing processes and better meet market demand. Prior to that, they were a Bike Shop Salesperson at Torpedo 7 from March 2016 to March 2017.
Topher Hurley has a Master's in Mining and Earth Systems Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, as well as a BS in Mining Engineering from the same school. Topher also has a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera, which is provided by Stanford University.
They are on a team with Nicole Robinson - CFO, Raj Parthipan - Environmental Technical Specialist, and Diandree Padayachee - Applications Manager. Their manager is Doug Hastie, Managing Director.
