Andrew Novak has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and drug discovery. Andrew has worked at Sygnature Discovery since 2007, starting as a Senior Scientist and progressing to the role of Principal Scientist. Andrew then became a Senior Principal Scientist and currently holds the position of Associate Director of Chemistry. Prior to their time at Sygnature Discovery, Andrew had a short placement at Università di Bologna as a PhD Placement student and also worked at AstraZeneca as an Msci Research Project Student. Additionally, they were a COST funded Investigator at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and had a CASE Placement at GSK.
Andrew Novak attended the University of Nottingham from 1999 to 2003, earning a degree in Chemistry (Msci). Andrew then pursued a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the same university from 2003 to 2006.
