Carly McGowan

Carly McGowan has extensive work experience in the legal field. Carly is currently the Head of Legal at Sygnature Discovery, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Sole Legal Counsel at the same company from July 2021 to November 2023. Before joining Sygnature Discovery, Carly worked at Eversheds Sutherland as a Senior Associate from May 2021 to July 2021 and as an Associate from October 2016 to April 2021. Carly also worked at Eversheds as a Trainee Solicitor in the Company Commercial department from March 2016 to September 2016. Carly's earlier experience includes working as a Trainee Solicitor and Regulatory Compliance Consultant at DFC Global Corp. from April 2015 to September 2016 and from an unspecified date in 2014 to April 2015, respectively.

Carly McGowan attended High Pavement Sixth Form College from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Law, Business Studies, and English Language at A level. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at Nottingham Trent University. Following this, they attended Nottingham Law School from 2012 to 2014 to complete a part-time Legal Practice Course.
