Indranil Duttagupta

Indranil Duttagupta is a Senior Scientist 2 at Sygnature Discovery, specializing in early stage drug discovery and supporting client projects from hit identification to lead generation since May 2021. Previously, Indranil held positions as Senior Scientist 1 at Selvita and Scientist III at Durham University, where development of green methodologies for lipid synthesis and labeled biomolecules was accomplished. Indranil's impressive background includes postdoctoral fellowships at CNRS and Aix-Marseille University, focusing on peptide-nitroxide probes for imaging and new nitroxides for therapeutic applications, respectively. Indranil began the research career as a Research Associate at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, synthesizing sulfur-containing aromatic non-natural amino acids. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from both the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science and Jadavpur University, an MS in Chemical Sciences from West Bengal University of Technology, and a BS in Chemistry Honours from the University of Calcutta.
