Isobel Jones

Isobel Jones is a Scientist 2 at Sygnature Discovery, with experience in conducting functional studies related to GTPyS binding, IP1 accumulation, and neurotransmitter uptake/release in synaptosomes and platelets since July 2022. Previously, Isobel held the position of Scientist 1 within the Receptor Binding team in In Vivo Pharmacology, where responsibilities included setting up and validating radioligand binding assays and overseeing sample management. Prior to this, Isobel served as a Student and Subject Ambassador at the University of Nottingham, engaging with prospective students and participating in outreach events. Moreover, a summer research internship at Chalmers Lab involved designing a project on knockout mutagenesis in E. coli. Isobel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Biological Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, completed in July 2022.
