Gustavo Chapela

Gustavo Chapela is an experienced leader in the fields of cybersecurity and technology entrepreneurship, currently serving as Vice President of Cyber Security Services for LATAM at Sygnia since October 2022. Prior to this role, Gustavo was the CEO of KIO Cyber Security from August 2012 to September 2022, where significant accomplishments included achieving business goals and maintaining effective administration. Earlier career highlights include founding Radical Studios, which published the first massive multiplayer video game in Latin America, and leadership positions at sm4rt security services S.A. de C.V. and Sm4rt Games Studios. Educational qualifications include executive management programs from Stanford University and IPADE Business School, as well as a philosophy degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Additionally, Gustavo has contributed as an Information Security Consultant for major companies such as Grupo Televisa and BBVA Bancomer.
