Jed McCaleb

Jed McCaleb is an advisor at Syllable and a previous founder of various companies including Astera Institute, Machine Intelligence Research Institute, Stellar Development Foundation, and ripple.com. Jed has been programming and designing games for over 20 years. Their most notable work is The Far Wilds, a turn-based strategy game that was well-received by critics for its unique gameplay. After leaving their previous company, Code Collective, they founded MetaMachine in 2000 and served as its CTO until 2005.
