Monica Samy

Monica Samy has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Monica recently joined Sylndr as the Head of Talent Acquisition in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Halan as the People & Culture Manager from January 2021 to March 2022 and as the People Partner for Tech, Product & Data from March 2020 to January 2021. Before Halan, they were a Global Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Swvl from June 2019 to March 2020. In 2018, Monica worked as a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist at Crowd Analyzer, where they collaborated with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and selection criteria. Monica also has prior experience as a Trainee at Orascom Construction Ltd in both 2016 and 2015.

Monica Samy holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from both The British University in Egypt (2013-2017) and Loughborough University (2013-2017). In addition to their formal education, Monica has obtained certifications in Employer Branding to Attract Talent and HR as a Business Partner from LinkedIn, both in June 2022.
