Kostas Bartjokas

Kostas Bartjokas has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Kostas is currently working as a Senior Project Management Consultant at Sylog Sverige AB since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Leica Geosystems Technology AB (Hexagon group) from April 2013 to October 2020, where they served as a Senior Project Manager and Team Manager. In this role, they managed software development projects for machine control solutions and led international project teams. Kostas was also responsible for managing project management and test operations groups and served as a site process owner and trainer.

Before joining Leica Geosystems Technology AB, Kostas worked at Svensk Byggnadsgeodesi AB (Hexagon group) from November 2007 to April 2013. Here, they held the position of Senior Project Manager and Team Manager, overseeing software development projects for machine control solutions. Kostas managed international project teams, as well as the software development and test operations teams. Kostas also served as a site process owner and trainer.

Prior to their roles at Hexagon group companies, Kostas worked at Siemens Medical Solutions from August 2001 to November 2007. Kostas held multiple roles during their time at Siemens, including IT Manager, SAP (PLM-MM) Project Manager, consultant, and trainer. Kostas was responsible for implementing the SAP-PLM and MM modules at Stockholm and Uppsala sites and integrating the IT and SAP infrastructure with Siemens Medical's international network. Kostas also provided SAP-PLM/MM training at various Siemens sites.

Before joining Siemens, Kostas worked at Telelogic Sverige AB (IBM group) as an IT Consultant, Project Manager, and Process Developer from September 2000 to August 2001. In this role, they developed requirements engineering training related to DOORs requirements tool and provided requirements engineering training. Kostas also worked on developing business processes.

Prior to Telelogic, Kostas worked at Teledrom Consulting and Training as a Project Manager and IT Consultant from June 1999 to September 2000. Kostas managed software development projects for telecom solutions, developed processes, and provided training as a configuration manager.

Kostas also has experience working at Tieto as an IT Consultant from May 1998 to June 1999, where they served as a senior software developer. Kostas developed telecom applications at Ericsson Radio Systems.

Before Tieto, Kostas worked at Frontec AB as an IT Consultant from January 1997 to May 1998.

Their career began at Ericsson Telecom AB in August 1990. Kostas held various roles in the company, including Trainer & Course Developer from April 1995 to January 1997, Software developer from March 1993 to April 1995, and Software Developer from August 1990 to March 1993.

Kostas Bartjokas has a diverse education history. In 2018, they attended the University of Skövde and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Project Management Fundamentals and Methods. In 2005, they studied at Stockholm University, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Pedagogical Techniques for the Business World. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2000, Kostas pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Design and Construction of Databases at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In 1989, they attended the Governmental Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering and Programming. Before that, from 1988 to 1989, Kostas studied Control and Regulation of Industrial Systems at the same institute. Lastly, in 1982 to 1984, they attended the Merchant Marine Academy and completed their university education, specializing in the A.E.N. School Masters Merchant Marine field of study.
