Carlos Faz

Carlos Faz has a strong background in process engineering and has held various leadership positions in the field. Carlos is currently the Director of Process Engineering at Sylvatex (SVX), a role they commenced in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead, Process Engineering at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. from July 2020 to February 2023. From April 2019 to July 2020, Carlos served as the Director of Chemical Production and Engineering at Kinestral Technologies, Inc. Before that, they held the position of Director of Pilot Facilities and Operations at Siluria Technologies, Inc. from August 2013 to April 2019. Carlos began their career at Rennovia, Inc. as an Engineering Team Leader, where they worked from April 2010 to July 2013.

Carlos Faz attended Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara from 1977 to 1981, where they studied Chemical Engineering. In 2003, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix and completed their MBA in Technical Management in 2005. In 2008, Carlos attended Stanford University and took Advanced Management Courses.
