Shawn McKinney

Shawn McKinney is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in software development and systems architecture. Since August 2013, Shawn has been with Symas Corporation, focusing on the packaging, testing, and support of Symas OpenLDAP releases for major Linux distributions, as well as projects involving directory integration in corporate networks. Prior to this role, Shawn co-founded the Fortress project at Joshua Tree Software and worked as a consultant at Mainstream Technologies, contributing to healthcare products on Linux platforms. Additionally, Shawn served as a systems architect at FIS, where a background in various system platforms was developed, and began a career in programming and analysis at Dillards, developing inventory tracking systems. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Kansas.
