Yingtong Wu

Yingtong "Amanda" Wu is a seasoned technical manager currently at Symbiosis Coalition, focusing on the evaluation of reforestation and nature-based carbon projects, while staying ahead of innovations in carbon science. With prior roles as a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University, Amanda has developed expertise in data analysis, natural language processing, and project management related to environmental research. Experience as a scientific consultant at Carbon Direct involves conducting technical diligence for carbon removal projects, complemented by a solid foundation in high-throughput sequencing and ecological modeling from earlier positions at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and other institutions. Amanda holds a PhD and MS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a BS in Life Sciences from Sun Yat-sen University.
