Alex Calder

Alex Calder started working as a Solutions Engineer at Symbotic in January 2017.

Before that, Alex was part of the Leadership Development Program at C&S Wholesale Grocers from July 2015 to December 2016. In this role, Alex developed financial models and worked with operational departments to ensure clear expense definitions.

In 2013, Alex interned at Boehringer Ingelheim in the Government Affairs Department, attending hearings and providing updates on healthcare issues.

Alex also interned at Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation in 2012 and worked as Office Staff at Kettletown State Park in 2010.

Alex Calder attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their majors were Resource Economics and Operations and Information Management. In 2014, Alex also participated in a program called NOLS in Palmer, Alaska, although the specific field of study for this program was not provided.

In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification in January 2014 from the SOLO Wilderness Medical School. They also obtained a Master Educator certification in 2014 from the Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics, although the specific month was not provided.
