Farid Bounini

Farid Bounini has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and computer vision. Farid currently holds the position of Machine Learning & Computer Vision Expert at Symbotic since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Université de Sherbrooke from January 2018 to February 2023, where they gained industrial experience with LIV and OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES. Farid also completed their PhD at the same university from October 2013 to December 2017. Farid has also worked at OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES as a Technical Consultant from August 2017 to February 2023 and as a PhD intern and collaborator from July 2014 to December 2017. Farid began their career as a Collegue at Université d'Évry Val d'Essonne from 2012 to 2013.

Farid Bounini obtained a Master's degree in Smart aerospace and autonomous systems (SAAS) from Université d'Évry in the year 2013. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Université de Sherbrooke from 2013 to 2017. Farid'sdoctoral research focused on Intelligent/autonomous and connected vehicles.
