Chris Claydon

Chris Claydon is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Symend since January 2021, Chris previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Claydon & Associates Inc. since September 2018, where Chris also acts as Owner and Director. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President of Engineering at Simplicity Global Solutions Ltd, and leadership positions at AppColony, including VP Mobile Engineering and VP Architecture. Chris has also worked as a Software Architect and Senior Software Developer at Calgary Scientific Inc., and held multiple engineering roles at Autodesk, culminating in the position of Principal Engineer. Chris holds an M.Chem degree in Chemistry, Computing, and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford, earned between 1992 and 1996.
