Ashish Sharma

Ashish Sharma is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and systems management. Currently serving as AVP of Information Technology at Symetra since April 2013, Sharma leads multiple technical teams focused on the development of complex financial products and operational excellence within critical policy administration systems. Prior to Symetra, Sharma worked at Microsoft from October 2006 to April 2013 as Delivery Manager and Senior Solution Manager, overseeing product and solution management for the Microsoft Partner Network, achieving significant cost reductions and enhancing partner capabilities. Earlier career experience includes roles at Safeco Insurance from May 1989 to May 2006, where Sharma held various management positions that involved supporting financial management applications, leading project teams, and contributing to enterprise-level document management solutions. Ashish Sharma holds a diploma in Application Development and Business Accounting from ITT Technical Institute.
