Dillon Lucas

Dillon Lucas, FIA has extensive work experience in the insurance and financial sector. Dillon is currently employed at Symetra as the VP of Risk and Capital Management since February 2024. Prior to this role, Dillon held various positions at Athene, including Director of Corporate Development from May 2023 to January 2024, Director of Valuation from July 2022 to May 2023, and Actuary from October 2021 to June 2022. Dillon also served as a Senior Actuarial Associate at Athene from December 2020 to September 2021. Prior to their time at Athene, Dillon worked as an Actuary at RSA from August 2018 to November 2020 and at Lloyds Banking Group from September 2014 to August 2018. Before entering the insurance industry, Dillon worked as an Arbitrage and Matched Betting consultant from September 2009 to September 2014. Dillon started their career at Tesco PLC, where they served as a Customer Advisor from April 2007 to June 2013.

Dillon Lucas, FIA, completed their education at Wirral Grammar School for Boys from 2002 to 2009. Dillon then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics at the University of Liverpool, graduating in 2014. Subsequently, they attended the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained the Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries qualification.
