Doug Vrooman

Doug Vrooman, FSA, MAAA, is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in the group benefits sector. Since joining Symetra in June 2017, Doug has held several senior roles, including AVP & Sr Actuary and Head of Pricing for Life, Disability, and Supplemental Health, as well as AVP & Actuary and Head of Valuation. Prior to his tenure at Symetra, Doug worked at American Fidelity from December 2010 to June 2017, where roles included Accident & Health Actuary and Team Leader, Group Disability Actuary, and Stop Loss & Supplemental Health Actuary.
