Kyle Gilpin

Kyle Gilpin is an experienced IT professional with a focus on cloud infrastructure and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Infrastructure Engineer II at Symetra since August 2018, Kyle has successfully designed and implemented various cloud solutions, including an AWS-based VDI solution and a cloud file strategy that utilized Amazon FSx. Prior to Symetra, Kyle held the role of IT Manager at Michael's & Magic Automotive Group, where significant improvements were made to the IT department, establishing the dealership as an industry leader in technology. Previous positions include Systems Engineer at Black Label IT, Senior Network Engineer II at United Communications Inc, and Network Engineer at FusionTek. Kyle holds an Associate in Applied Science in Information Technology from Bellevue College and has pursued further education at the University of Washington.
