Mary Bates

Mary Bates has extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in underwriting, mortality management, and research and development. Mary has held senior leadership roles at Symetra and AXA US, where they were responsible for strategic direction, agency and vendor relationships, and expense management. Mary also worked on projects to evaluate alternative underwriting solutions and profitability. Mary Bates began their career at AXA US in 2007 and transitioned to Symetra in 2016.

Mary Bates has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Western New England University.
