Geraint Dermody

Geraint Dermody has a diverse work experience in various companies. Geraint started their career in 1997 at Dstl as a Project Manager/Scientist and worked there until 2000. In 2000, they joined X-Tek Systems Ltd as a Sales representative and stayed with the company until 2007. From 2007 to 2009, Geraint worked as a Business Development Manager at NIKON METROLOGY (FORMERLY METRIS). Since 2010, they have been associated with Symetrica, initially as a Business Development Manager and currently holds the position of Managing Director & Chief Product Officer.

Geraint Dermody pursued their education in the field of physics, with a focus on medical physics. Geraint embarked on their educational journey at Swansea University from 1990 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Medical Physics. Following this, they enrolled at King's College London in 1993, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in X-ray Science and Technology within a year. Continuing their academic pursuit at the same institution, Geraint completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in X-ray Detectors, which they earned from King's College London between 1993 and 1997.
