Henry Breese

Henry Breese has over twenty years of experience in finance and accounting. Henry began their career as a Financial Analyst at York Mailing and was quickly promoted to Group Financial Director. In this role, they were responsible for improving communication with external and internal stakeholders, successfully integrating two acquisitions into the Group, and reducing overdue debts by in excess of £1.5M.

In 2011, Breese left York Mailing to join ghd as Head of Financial Reporting. Henry was brought in on an interim contract as Commercial Finance Director for the UK before moving into a Group role. This was their first truly interim role and proved to be a fascinating experience in an extremely dynamic and progressive business.

In 2014, Breese joined MAYBORN GROUP LIMITED as Group Head of Integration and Acquisitions. Henry oversaw the successful integration of several acquisitions into the group before leaving in 2018 to join Symingtons as Chief Financial Officer.

At Symington's, Breese is responsible for the financial management of the company. Henry has successfully navigated the company through some challenging times, including the global pandemic of 2020. Under their leadership, Symington's has continued to be a profitable and thriving business.

Henry Breese was educated at Keele University, Glenalmond, and Bramcote School. Henry holds a BSS Hons in Politics & Economics.
