Adrian Walters

Adrian Walters has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adrian is currently working at SMMA as the Principal and Science & Technology Studio Leader since May 2018. Prior to this, Adrian was an Associate Principal at ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge from August 2013 to May 2018. Adrian also served as an Associate Vice President at Cannon Design from November 2009 to August 2013. Adrian has held the position of Senior Associate at Anshen + Allen from October 2008 to November 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott from 1995 to 2008. Adrian began their professional journey as an Urban Planner at Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission in 1994 before transitioning into the field of architecture.

Adrian Walters has a diverse educational background. In 1991, they began their undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (B_Arch) and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture (BEDA). Adrian successfully completed their academic studies in 1995.

Adrian continued their education in 2012 at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. There, they engaged in Continuing Education and focused on the subject of "Guidelines for Laboratory Design: Health and Safety Considerations." The duration of this program was limited to a single year.
