Barry Dunn

Barry Dunn has work experience primarily in electrical engineering. From July 2020 to present, they have been employed as an Electrical Engineer at SMMA. Previously, from May 2019 to August 2019, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at the same company. In this role, they gained experience in drafting power and lighting BIM drawings, lighting foot-candle calculations, and basic building and safety codes. Barry also developed a C program to facilitate the lighting calculation process and collaborated with interns from other departments on an integrated building design project.

Before joining SMMA, Barry worked as a Production Coordinator at the company from June 2013 to August 2018. In this role, they managed the storage system for drawings and master files, maintained a database of drawing sets, and provided assistance in coordinating company events. Barry also filled in as a secretary on occasions.

In addition, Barry Dunn had a role at Target from June 2016 to January 2017 as a Hardlines Team Member. In this position, they collaborated with colleagues to maintain stock and organization of goods, provided customer service and assistance on the sales floor and at the checkout lanes.

Barry Dunn obtained their Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering from Roger Williams University. Barry completed their studies from 2016 to 2020.
