Shashi Mysore

Shashi Mysore has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They currently hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Symmetry Systems, where they oversee a team and are involved in various aspects of the business. Prior to this, Shashi worked as the Head of Commercialization Strategy and Value Engineering at Quick Base from 2018 to 2023. They also served as a Mentor at Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) from 2021 to 2023.

Before their current roles, Shashi held leadership positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they were responsible for product management and strategy. They were involved in the development and delivery of cloud solutions for customers, contributing to significant revenue growth. Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Shashi worked at Eucalyptus Systems Inc., where they held various roles and were an instrumental part of the founding team. Their responsibilities included product management, sales, marketing, customer support, and international expansion.

Shashi also has experience as a Co-Founder and CTO at early-stage startups and worked as a graduate student researcher and teaching assistant at the University of California, Santa Barbara. They have received recognition for their research and have won multiple awards for their contributions in the field. Additionally, Shashi has interned at Google, where they worked on platforms research and search infrastructure projects, developing analytical tools and systems.

Prior to their industry experience, Shashi worked as a Research Associate at STMicroelectronics - Indian Institute of Science Research Lab, where they focused on network simulators and their impact on NoC/SoC design.

Shashi Mysore has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the same institution. They also hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University. In addition, Shashi has obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner and a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Product Manager.
