Niels Jørgen Skartved has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and biomedical technology. Niels Jørgen started their career at Lund University Hospital in 1994 as a Biomedical technician, working in the Clinical Chemistry department. In 1997, they joined Active Biotech as a Research Engineer for a period of four years. Following that, they worked at Maxygen from 2001 to 2008 as a Principle Scientist. Their most recent position was at Symphogen in 2008, where they held the role of Principal Scientist.
Niels Jørgen Skartved graduated from Lund University in 1997 with a M.Sc degree in Human Biology, Immunology. Prior to that, they attended the University College of Health Science, where they completed their bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
