Viktoria Sereti

Viktoria Sereti has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Viktoria currently holds a position as a Scientist at Symphogen, a pharmaceutical company. Prior to this, they worked as a PhD student at DTU Health Tech, focusing on nanosized drug carriers for cancer imaging and treatment. During their PhD, they worked on four research projects, including the development of nanoscaled ultrasound contrast agents. Viktoria also worked as a PhD student at DTU Nanotech.

Before pursuing their PhD, Viktoria worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen. Viktoria'swork involved the characterization of proteins in quinoa seeds as part of the Protein2Food project. Viktoria also completed their Master's thesis during this time, which focused on isolating and characterizing the enzyme choline esterase from white mustard plants. Additionally, they worked as a Student Assistant on a matchmaking project involving Camelina sativa varieties.

Earlier in their career, Viktoria worked as a Research Assistant at the National Hellenic Research Foundation. Viktoria'swork involved characterizing the structural properties of water-in-oil nanodispersions. Viktoria also completed their Diploma thesis during this time, where they utilized biocompatible and biodegradable block copolymers for stabilizing water-in-oil nanodispersions.

Viktoria Sereti obtained their education in a chronological order starting from their earliest degree. In 2007, they attended the University of Ioannina, where they pursued a diploma in Biological Applications and Technologies. Viktoria completed this program in 2013. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, Viktoria enrolled at Københavns Universitet, also known as the University of Copenhagen, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology-Biotechnology. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, they attended DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Health Technology.
