Jakub Alexander

Jakub Alexander has a diverse background in the music industry. Jakub began their career in 2000 as Creative Director and Event Curator for ATMSPHR Organization. In 2002, they joined Ghostly International as A+R, Project Manager, and Social Media. In 2007, they became Music Curator for ISO50 and Band Manager for Tycho. In 2011, they became Self Employed as a Tour Manager and began working as Musician for Heathered Pearls. In 2012, they co-founded Koivu with their sister Martyna Alexander and worked as Apparel Designer and Graphic Design. In 2018, they joined Symphonic Distribution as Director of A+R and Business Development, and Senior Client Manager and Playlist Pitching/A&R. In 2019, they established Mechanical, a New York-based label interested in audio ephemera.

Jakub Alexander received a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising from Eastern Michigan University.
