Jasmy Bin Ismail

Dato’ Jasmy bin Ismail, a Malaysian, aged 57, was appointed to the Board on 1 April 2018. He obtained Masters of Science (MSc) in Transport Management from City, University of London and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, United Kingdom.

Dato’ Jasmy started his career at IBM Malaysia in 1988 and held various positions within the Sales and Marketing Division, being responsible mainly for the Public Sector and Financial Services industries. He was also appointed as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of IBM Malaysia. Dato’ Jasmy served as General Manager of CCAAP Technologies Sdn. Bhd. in 1996. He was also appointed as Executive Director of New Technology & Innovation Sdn. Bhd.

In 2000, Dato’ Jasmy co-founded Symphony Global Technologies Sdn. Bhd. and served as the Chairman of Symphony BCSIS Sdn. Bhd., a joint-venture company with OCBC Bank Singapore’s subsidiary BCSIS and held the position until 2007.

Dato’ Jasmy was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Building Society Berhad from 2009 until 2018. He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of TSH Resources Berhad, Reach Energy Berhad and Non-Executive Independent Chairman of Naza Automotive Group. He is also an appointed Council Member of the Badminton Association of Malaysia and a Trustee of Yayasan Budi Penyayang.
