Aung Bo Tun

Aung Bo Tun has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Aung began their career in 2009 as an Instructor at KMD Group of Companies, where they taught courses on PHP, VB, C#, and various other subjects. Aung also conducted research and created summary notes for students.

After that, Aung worked at aridient as a Senior Developer for a brief period in 2012. Aung then moved on to AlphaChannel, where they assumed the role of Project Manager from August 2012 to November 2013.

In 2013, Aung joined Mya-Tech as a Technical Consultant, where they developed marketing plans for software solutions and products. Aung also engaged with Open ERP companies and assessed their strengths and weaknesses.

The following year, Aung worked at LIVINGWORKS as an Application Developer cum System integrator. Their responsibilities included working on Control4 and Assembly Control integration projects.

In 2014, Aung had stints at both NCS Group and Davion Labs. At NCS Group, they served as an Application Consultant, while at Davion Labs, they worked as a Blockchain DevOps Engineer.

From 2017 to 2021, Aung held multiple roles at Certis. Initially starting as a Program Manager, they led project meetings, resolved technical issues, and coordinated information exchange within the company and with clients. Later, they transitioned to the role of Application Manager, where they focused on solution, application, and data architecture. Aung also managed outsystems application and data migration to AWS enterprise clouds. In 2019, Aung became a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Certis, responsible for re-architecting on-premise applications and implementing DevOps methodologies.

Later, Aung joined Bybit as a Senior DevOps Engineer in 2021. In this role, they played a crucial role in system design and implementation, cloud deployment, application development automation, and infrastructure automation.

Most recently, Aung is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Symphony, starting in 2023.

Aung Bo Tun has a diverse education history. In 2012, they began studying at Victoria University where they pursued a Master of Enterprise Resource Planning with a focus on Application Programming Technique (ABAP). Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Greenwich and earned a Bachelor of Business Information Technology. During their time there, they studied Business, Project Management, and Technology. From 2007 to 2011, Aung Bo Tun also pursued a B.A in Geo at West Yangon University, specializing in Geology and Earth Science.

In addition to their formal education, Aung Bo Tun has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became an Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional. In 2018, they completed the NICF-Architecting Software Solutions course from NUS Computing. In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as the Human-Centered Design Practitioner certification from LUMA Institute. Most recently, in 2020, they earned the Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional certification from AWS.
