Hiep Nguyen

Hiep Nguyen has extensive experience in software configuration management and build and release engineering. Hiep worked at Symphony - Secure Seamless Communication as a Sr. Build and Release Engineer, where they designed and implemented build delivery pipelines in Jenkins and collaborated with test automation and development teams. At Rovi Corporation, they also held the position of Sr. Build and Release Engineer. Prior to that, Hiep served as the Sr. Build and Release Lead and Software Configuration Management at ActiveVideo Networks, where they improved SCM infrastructure and processes and managed build and release management for Active CloudTV and related products.

Hiep has also worked as a Sr. Embedded/Android Build & Release Engineer and Software Configuration Management at Panasonic Cloud Entertainment Company and as an Architect for Software Configuration Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Corp., where they built and managed the SCM infrastructure. Moreover, they managed the ABI SCM infrastructure at Applied Biosystems, overseeing a team of engineers and providing SCM support for over 60 projects and 100 developers. Hiep also held software configuration management positions at PulseMD, Zadu Inc, GeoCast Network Systems, and SGI, where they gained experience in source code control, product build and release, and system integration.

Hiep Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University in 1989. The exact starting year for their education is not provided.
