Ricardo Domingues

Ricardo Domingues has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Ricardo worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Symphony.com from September 2020, where they developed a cloud-based product for secure meetings. Ricardo also contributed to maintaining SymphonyMediaBridge, a SFU for WebRTC. Prior to that, from May 2019 to September 2020, they held the same position at Critical TechWorks.

Before joining Critical TechWorks, Ricardo worked as a Software Engineer Team Lead at Collab from March 2016 to February 2019. In this role, they led the development of a distributed server to support videoconferencing for SIP and WebRTC endpoints.

In 2015, they worked at Altitude Software as a Software Engineer, where they focused on analyzing and developing the Altitude Scripting Language (ASL) used in contact centers.

Ricardo started their career in 2013 with an internship at FPF - Federação Portuguesa de Futebol. After that, they worked as a Web Developer at LookAndGo from October 2013 to December 2014, where they developed and maintained web applications.

Throughout their career, Ricardo has gained expertise in various technologies such as WebRTC, SIP, RTP, C++11, C#, PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Yiiframework, jQuery, Apache Server, and MySQL.

Ricardo Domingues completed their education with a Master's degree in Healthcare Information Systems Management from Instituto Politécnico de Leiria em parceria com Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto. Ricardo pursued this degree from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Licenciatura in Informática para a Saúde from Polytechnic of Leiria from 2010 to 2013. Their educational journey began at Escola Profissional de Leiria from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Gestão de Equipamentos Informáticos.
