Yucheng Lai

Yucheng Lai has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software development, quality assurance, and test automation.

Yucheng currently holds the role of Senior Software Development Engineer In Test at Symphony, starting in July 2021.

Prior to Symphony, Yucheng was employed at Curriculum Associates from July 2018 to March 2021. During their tenure, they served as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, later transitioning to the role of Quality Assurance Lead for Learning Games. In this role, they were responsible for designing and defining the overall QA process to improve product quality.

From March 2017 to July 2018, Yucheng worked as a Senior Software Quality Engineer and Scrum Master at Aspen Technology.

Before that, they were employed at Amadeus IT Group from September 2012 to November 2016 as a QA Engineer, where they contributed to the quality assurance of an application program interface (API) for airline services.

Yucheng's early work experience includes roles as a Trainee - Test and Continuous Integration Developer at Alcatel-Lucent from February 2012 to August 2012, and as a Trainee - Test Automation Analyst-Developer at Netvitesse from April 2011 to September 2011. In these roles, they focused on test automation, implementation of continuous integration, and enhancing product quality.

Yucheng Lai completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering (Telecom & EE) from South China University of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Yucheng then pursued a Master's degree in Information System at EFREI - Grande école du numérique from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Yucheng Lai has obtained several certifications. In May 2012, they became a Certified Tester - Foundation Level from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Later on, in February 2015, they acquired the Agile Tester Extension certification from the same institution. In December 2017, Yucheng Lai earned the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. More recently, in July 2021, they obtained the Symphony Certified Developer certification from Symphony. Lastly, in December 2021, Yucheng Lai completed the Jenkins Essential Training from LinkedIn.
