Sudarson Roy Pratihar

Sudarson Roy Pratihar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Sudarson started their career as a Software Engineer at Satyam in 2000 and then worked as a Technical Lead at APL from 2002 to 2006. Sudarson then joined Infosys as a Technical Architect, where they contributed to the transformation journey of a transportation company to a modern platform and gained valuable experience until 2008.

After that, they worked as a Technical Architect at The Wall Street Journal as an Infosys consultant from 2007 to 2008. Sudarson then joined HCL Technologies as a Senior Architect and played a pivotal role in various project assignments and pre-sales engagements. Sudarson successfully implemented an Analytics and Data Warehouse platform on Cloud with AWS and SAP Business Objects for a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

In 2013, Sudarson worked as a Senior Architect at both Pivotal Software, Inc. and EMC. During this time, they focused on data science and architecture. Sudarson then joined Virtusa in 2016 as the Solutions Head for Machine Learning, AI, and Chief Data Scientist, where they developed innovative solutions in fraud detection, wealth management, risk scoring, and trade surveillance.

In 2018, Sudarson joined SymphonyAI as the VP and Head of AI & Data Science, dedicating their time to enhancing AI capabilities across multiple portfolio companies. In 2019, they took on the role of Fintech AI Leader at Symphony AyasdiAI, focusing on AI products for financial crime and other fintech areas.

Throughout their career, Sudarson has gained extensive experience in AI, data science, machine learning, and technical architecture. Their achievements include developing intelligent applications, implementing adaptive anomaly detection and next best action recommender systems, and conceptualizing and implementing analytics and data warehouse platforms on the cloud.

Sudarson Roy Pratihar has a diverse education background. Sudarson obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation from Jadavpur University in 1999. Sudarson then pursued a Higher Secondary education in Sciences from Burdwan Municipal High School, completing it in 1995.

In 2014-2015, Sudarson attended the Indian School of Business and earned a degree in AMPBA, specializing in Data Science. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate on Business Analytics with a focus on Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics from the same institution.

In terms of certifications, Sudarson completed a Coursera course on "A developer's guide to the Internet of Things (IoT)" in 2016. Sudarson also obtained an Infosys Certified Software Architect certification from Infosys, although the specific timeframe is not provided.
