Ellissa Verseput

Ellissa Verseput is an experienced data professional currently serving as a Data Team Lead at Sympower since November 2021. Prior to this role, Ellissa worked as a self-employed Apache Spark Trainer from January 2019 to December 2023. From January 2019 to October 2021, a position was held as a Machine Learning Engineer at Eneco, focusing on sustainable energy insight services, following a similar role at Quby prior to the merger. As a Big Data Engineer at FIOD from November 2017 to November 2018, responsibilities included developing applications for tax fraud investigation, while also gaining technical training at Xomnia. Earlier experiences included a role as a Software Engineer at Kleynen Consultants and various internships throughout academic studies. Ellissa holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics and Operations Research from Maastricht University, alongside an exchange program at UC San Diego.
