Abdou-Chakour Daro

Abdou-Chakour Daro has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, in 2023, they are serving as the Head of Global HR Systems - Analytics & Sustainability at Symrise AG. Prior to this, they founded DARO Management Consulting Africa SARL (DMC Africa SARL) in 2020 and held the positions of Founder and CEO & Founder. In 2018, Daro was a Shareholder & Founder of DARO Management and Consulting GmbH. Abdou-Chakour also worked at Nordzucker AG from 2020 to 2023, where they held the positions of Manager HR IT Systems & Reporting and Project Manager HR IT Systems & Consultant SAP, responsible for various global projects. Before that, they worked as a Senior SAP Consultant at Teamwork Germany GmbH in 2018, an IT SAP HCM Consultant at Continental in 2018, and a SAP HCM Consultant and Project at Gühring KG from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Human Resources Officer and Project at BASF from 2011 to 2016, a Research Assistant at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH) in 2011, and a Project manpower in Automobile Project at Daimler AG in 2011.

Abdou-Chakour Daro has a diverse education history. Abdou-Chakour obtained a Diploma in Law and Economics/Translation, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2011. Abdou-Chakour then pursued further education by completing a Master of Science in Digital Currency with a focus on Blockchain and Digital Currency at the University of Nicosia from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, Daro enrolled at the Swiss School of Business and Management, where they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialization in HR Digitilization, HR Systems, and Cloud. Additionally, Daro has obtained several certifications, including SAP Certified Application Associate certifications in various areas such as SuccessFactors Compensation, Performance and Goal Management, and Employee Central Core. Abdou-Chakour has also earned certifications in data visualization, people analytics, and project management.
