Gerald Reinders

Gerald Reinders has extensive work experience in the flavor and fragrance industry. Gerald began their career in 1997 as a Lab Manager for Separation Science at Symrise AG (formerly Haarmann & Reimer GmbH). From 1999 to 2001, they served as the Lab Manager for Special Analytical Services. Gerald then progressed to the role of Director for Flavor Release and Encapsulation Research from 2001 to 2004. Gerald joined Symrise AG in 2004 and held various leadership positions including Director of Applied Research for Sweet/Dairy Flavors and Encapsulation Research until 2008. Gerald then became the Director of Regulatory Affairs for Flavor & Nutrition in EAME until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Gerald served as the Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs. Gerald'smost recent position was as the Director of Strategic Regulatory Affairs for Flavor at Symrise AG.

Gerald Reinders completed their education in a chronological order, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Food Chemistry from the University of Münster in 1990. Gerald then pursued further studies and obtained a 2. Staatsexamen in Food Regulations and Analytics from the Food Authority Hamm in 1991. Finally, they completed their academic journey by earning a Doctor rer. nat./PhD in Food Chemistry from the University of Münster in 1996.
