Jorge Cabrera has extensive work experience in the consumer goods industry. Jorge started their career as a Brand Assistant at L'Oreal S.A. in 2003 and later worked as a Product Manager at LVMH from 2004 to 2007. Jorge then joined Clarins as a Brand Manager from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they joined Avon as the Haircare & Children Brand Manager and later became the Male Fragrances Brand Manager for Mexico & CA. In 2011, they moved to Puig Mexico as a Marketing Manager for Beauty Brands. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Beauty Guru Mx, where they were responsible for the creation of the concept and image of the online store specializing in perfumes and cosmetics. Jorge then joined International Flavors & Fragrances as the LATAM Regional Marketing Manager for Home Care from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are the Consumer & Market Intelligence Director Home Care EAME at Symrise AG, a role they have held since 2022, after serving as the Marketing Director Home Care EAME from 2021 to 2022.
Jorge Cabrera completed a Maestria en Dirección Estratégica de Marcas with a focus on Mercadotecnia at Universidad Panamericana from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Licenciatura in Mercadotecnia with an emphasis on Economico Administrativo at Universidad del Valle de México from 2000 to 2004.
