Ong Yang Lim

Ong Yang Lim has a diverse work experience in the field of SAP and finance. Ong Yang started their career as an ABAP Consultant at Vantage Point Consulting Sdn Bhd in 2005. Ong Yang then worked as an ABAP Consultant at ISS CONSULTING – MALAYSIA before joining ISS as an SAP Consultant in 2005. At ISS, they gained experience as an FICO and ABAP Consultant, handling tasks such as gathering business requirements, system design, configuration, testing, and post-implementation support. In 2008, they joined Deloitte as a FICO Consultant where they worked on the UOL Harmony Project and administered FICO's overall design, conducted training, and provided support for the Go-Live phase. Ong Yang also worked as a FICO Consultant at Accenture where they managed a pilot program for 3M's SAP global system implementation. Ong then joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a SAP Senior FICO Business Analyst, where they administered SAP business processes, design and rollout for the Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets. Ong Yang also managed the implementation of the SBD Pune manufacturing plant. In 2014, they joined NTT DATA as a SAP FICO Lead, providing solutions for SAP FICO requirements and handling pre-sales activities. Currently, Ong is working at Symrise AG as the Director of Finance Digitalization & SAP Lead.

Ong Yang Lim attended Universiti Tenaga Nasional from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree in Computer Science and Information Technology. Ong Yang also has additional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute, Agile Scrum Master from Scrum Masters Inc, Anaplan from Anaplan, and MySAP Financial Certification from SAP.
