Blake Thompson Heuer

Blake Thompson Heuer has extensive experience in the field of journalism and communications. Blake started their career as a Global News Intern at The Associated Press in 2012. Blake then worked as a Reporter at E&E News from 2013 to 2019, where they covered topics such as oil, gas, electricity, climate, and cybersecurity. At E&E News, they later took on the role of Deputy Editor, where they co-managed a team of 15 reporters. In 2021, Blake joined Synack, Inc. as a Managing Editor and eventually became the Head of Communications and README Editor-in-Chief in 2022.

Blake Thompson Heuer attended Northwestern University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. In 2010, they also briefly studied at The American University in Cairo, but it is unclear if they completed a degree or field of study during that time.
