Malcolm Tan is a US CPA and CA Singapore with a diverse range of work experience. Malcolm is currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Synagie Group, where they advise the board of directors and Group CEO on group strategy and financial matters. Prior to this, Malcolm worked as the Director of Global Finance at Trax Retail Ltd, leading finance and management accounting functions across 16 countries. Malcolm also served as the Group Head of Finance at Tessa Therapeutics Ltd, handling finance and accounting responsibilities for the biotechnology company. Malcolm has extensive experience in auditing, having worked as an audit manager at PwC in both the US and Singapore. Malcolm has audited multinational publicly listed and private corporations and has mentored and coached junior auditors. Additionally, Malcolm served as a regional finance manager for BBDO Asia Pacific, overseeing 12 accounting and finance teams.

Malcolm Tan completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Malcolm attended this university from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained the Singapore Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in June 2008. Later, in January 2014, they acquired the US Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA.
