Scott Coughtrie MBE

Head of Strategic Operations at SYNALOGiK

Scott Coughtrie MBE has a long and distinguished career in intelligence, security, and investigation. Scott began their career in 1978 with the Army, where they served for 42 years. In 2000, they became a Barrister at St Ives Chambers. Most recently, in 2019, they began their role as Head of Strategic Operations for SYNALOGiK, where they are responsible for the development of strategic operational initiatives within the ISI community. Scott delivers increased proficiency and capacity across both the private and public sectors with automated data analytic risk assessment products. Scott also manages and coordinates strategic accounts involving UK Government departments, Police, Security agencies, Systems Integrators, Civil Sector Security Organisations, and other ISI Community contracts.

Scott Coughtrie MBE attended Windsor Boys School in Germany from 1972 to 1976. Scott then went on to Holborn College of Law, where they received a Bachelor of Laws - LLB (Hons) in Law from 1996 to 1999. After that, they completed the Barrister Vocational Course at BPP Law School from 1999 to 2000. Finally, they were admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn and called to the Bar in 2000.
