Software Engineer - Technical Project Management at SYNAOS

Ammar Ghazzawi has a diverse range of work experience in software development and telecommunications. Ammar is currently employed as an Embedded Software Engineer at SYNAOS since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Futura as an Employee from January 2020 to June 2020.

From 2016 to 2019, Ammar worked at KEYMILE as a C++ Embedded Software Developer. During this time, they gained experience in software development for embedded systems.

Before joining KEYMILE, Ammar worked as a Software Developer freelancer at T-Labs, Telekom Innovation Laboratories from February 2015 to January 2016. In this role, they contributed to various research topics in telecommunication technologies, focusing on 802.11 networks. Ammar implemented new functionalities to the wireless device driver/mac80211/QDiscs in the Linux kernel using C/C++.

Prior to their freelance work, Ammar had a research internship and completed their Master's thesis at T-Labs, Telekom Innovation Laboratories from October 2013 to December 2014. In this role, they were involved in diverse research topics in mobile networks, wireless access technologies, and internet protocols. Ammar developed and implemented a TCP tunnel based bundling approach in a Linux-based environment using C.

Ammar's early work experience includes a role as a Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer at MTN SYRIA from July 2009 to September 2012. In this role, they were responsible for planning and optimizing the radio network, conducting coverage studies, and performing drive tests. Ammar worked with Ericsson and Huawei equipment for GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and UMTS networks.

Overall, Ammar Ghazzawi possesses extensive experience in embedded software development, telecommunications, and research and has held various roles in both industry and research settings throughout their career.

Ammar Ghazzawi began their education at the University of Damascus in 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Ammar successfully completed their studies in 2009. After that, they furthered their education by enrolling at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in 2012 and attained a Master's degree in Information and Communication Engineering in 2014.
