Bazil Muzaffar Kotriwala

Bazil Muzaffar Kotriwala started their work experience as a Project Management Intern at blueEX in December 2016, where they worked across departments in E-commerce and digital marketing. Their responsibilities included creating proposals and marketing campaign presentations, consolidating data, and creating prototypes for the company website and project management system.

In 2017, Bazil worked as a Peer-Assisted Study Session Leader at Monash University Malaysia, where they conducted study sessions for Continuous Mathematics and helped students understand and learn subject concepts.

Next, Bazil joined FLEXIROAM as a Product Development Intern in December 2017. Here, they developed Python scripts to prepare MySQL data, created dashboards and visualizations using Dash by Plotly, and performed data wrangling using Google Cloud Platform's Dataprep.

Bazil Muzaffar then worked at Involve Asia as a Data Scientist from July 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they worked in a small team of 3 data scientists in the affiliate marketing domain. Their responsibilities included developing content-based recommendation systems, applying machine learning forecasting for load balancing, and creating an in-house real-time anomaly detection system using the FbProphet forecast model.

Following that, Bazil joined Volvo Construction Equipment as a Master Thesis Student from February 2021 to July 2021.

Most recently, they started working as a Data Scientist in Simulation Engineering at SYNAOS in September 2021.

Bazil Muzaffar Kotriwala pursued their education in the field of computer science and engineering. Bazil Muzaffar completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Monash University Malaysia between 2015 and 2018. Following this, they enrolled at Eindhoven University of Technology and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, Bazil furthered their studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Computer Science and Engineering, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree and completed it in 2021.
